Description

In 1973, Dr. Kikuchi successfully completed his doctor of philosophy at the University of Arizona after defending his dissertation in the study of Native Hawaiian aquaculture systems. During this time, he surveyed fishponds on Oahu, Kauai and Hawaii islands which resulted in many original fishpond drawings and diagrams. The items represented in this collection are his original dissertation research notes, figures, diagrams, and data.
