Archaeology on Kauai
Title
Archaeology on Kauai
Description
The Archaeology on Kauai newsletter was originally created by Dr. Kikuchi and Francis Ching Jr. to serve as a publication to inform the Kauai island community and other interested parties about their archaeology research findings. In its later progression, Kauai Community College Anthropology Club students also participated in researching Kauai cultural sites and assisted in publishing their findings in the newsletter. It became a widely acclaimed newsletter covering Kauai and Hawaii based archaeology, history, and culture, and was requested and catalogued by libraries such as the New York Public Library.
This collection contains digitized versions of volumes 1 through 5 and volumes 6 through 16 of Archaeology on Kauai, a digitized copy of the index, and a set of correspondences about the Spalding residence.
