The accessions within this collection represent digitized items described at the folder level. The original folder level order of each accession has been preserved by the archivist. The items within folders were organized by Dr. Kikuchi in their own original folders as seen here, despite frequently being collections of papers collated from other files and places. It appears that at one point many of the original papers within these Hawaii files belonged to one notebook of materials. It is possible that many of the notes and drawings in this Hawaii collection are from surveys he conducted for his University of Arizona dissertation research.
